All participants must be age 16 years or older, and must possess a valid state driver’s license and must present it on the day of the event. Minors must have a parent/legal guardian present (with valid ID) on the day of the event.
The intent of this event is to give contestants with no prior race experience a place to compete in United States Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) approved production-based automobiles.
For the purpose of this event, D.O.T. production based automobiles are mass-produced automobiles for use on public roads. Other cars will not be eligible and will be disqualified at the discretion of the Chief Steward.
Any vehicle that presents a hazard to other participants, including leaking fluids, is prohibited from entering the track.
Convertibles are not permitted.
Modification to or substitution of the chassis, engine, drive train or body work is not allowed.
There is no minimum weight for this class.
This class is open to all cars originally delivered with engines having no more than six (6) cylinders.
Model year is unrestricted.
Turbocharged/supercharged cars are permitted.
Vehicle Identification Number is required.
Heater system may not be removed in whole or in part.
Ride height is unrestricted, but must be unmodified from original manufacturer construction.

All automobiles must be registered with the relevant state authority and must have a current, valid registration.
All equipment must be in good operating order without defect. No vehicle with leaking fluids will be permitted on the track (each vehicle will be examined on the day of the event).
Drivers are required to inspect or have their car inspected prior to competition and must certify that they have done so.
Because each vehicle will be operated in the pit area, all participants are required to have liability insurance on their automobiles.
The Bad Kitty Track Challenge registration form must be completed and presented to event staff on the day of the event along with copies of the driver’s license, insurance card(s), and automobile registration. These documents must be presented at the gate prior to entry. Failure to bring these documents will result in disqualification.
The top three finishing vehicles must be taken to the Chief Steward at the end of the event for tech inspection. Failure to pass tech inspection will result in disqualification.
Production cars with traction control devices and anti-lock brake systems must keep these systems on at all times and they shall not be disabled. In essence, these systems must be run as installed even when disabling these systems is an option on the entered vehicle.
This event is organized with the intent to be safe and fun for the participants, fans and sponsors. As a result, drivers are expected to know the limitation of their driving ability and the limitation of their automobile, and operate within these parameters at all times.
Participants are required to act in a courteous manner to other participants and event staff. Participants that fail to do so will be asked to leave the track and be disqualified from the event. Participants that are asked to leave will leave without their automobile and will be permitted to return one hour after the conclusion of the event to retrieve their car.
Participants are to remain in their vehicle at all times until they have completed their race laps. Upon completion of each driver’s race participation, drivers must report to the assigned driver’s area.
Cars may not be driven in reverse inside Lonesome Pine Raceway.
Racing is an inherently dangerous sport; therefore, no one should rely on the safety of other drivers. At no time will participants stand on or approach the track during competition. Equally, participants may not stand in or approach any area of the infield that is under use for race purposes at any given time.
Participants acknowledge that this event may be recorded and/or broadcast for radio and/or television. Participants will cooperate with media personnel. Additionally, no participant may wear attire that endorses any person or entity or attire that contains a message that may be considered offensive. This rule shall be enforced at the sole discretion of the Director of Marketing for Superior Racing Promotions, Inc. To this extent, participants are encouraged to err on the side of caution in choosing race attire.
Race participants must wear the following attire: a long sleeved shirt, full-length pants, and closed-toed shoes. Snell-approved helmets are required; if you do not own a Snell-approved helmet, one will be provided for use during the event. Although not required, racing gloves are recommended. Drivers are free to change clothing following completion of their race laps (within those guidelines stated in the previous rule).
If unfavorable weather makes it unsafe to hold this event on November 8th, the Bad Kitty Track Challenge will be rescheduled for the next available weekend date. All registrations and tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date. Refunds will not be available.
Participants are required to read and familiarize themselves with the competition format information on the Bad Kitty Track Challenge website. Participants are required to adhere to the competition format requirements and not deviate in any respect.
Participants must acknowledge that the right of ownership to this event, including any recorded media, is the sole property of Superior Racing Promotions and that no participant will be compensated for their participation or inclusion in recorded or broadcast media.
Superior Racing Promotions will be offering one participant a position as a spokesmodel for upcoming Superior Racing Promotions events to take place starting in the spring of 2009. Participants recognize that they must cooperate with event staff in this selection process. Failure to cooperate with event staff will result in not being considered.
The spokesmodel position will not be offered on the day of the event. A predetermined number of people will be selected for a “call back.” Those selected participants who wish to be considered for the spokesmodel position will be required to attend a final interview to receive full consideration.
In addition to the rules stated herein, participants must comply with the rules of Superior Racing Promotions, Inc., SCRBB, L.L.C., and Lonesome Pine Raceway. Failure to follow these rules will result in prize ineligibility as well as ineligibility for the spokesmodel position.
